Robert specializes in assisting corporations, business owners and individuals with their financial, accounting, tax and business affairs. He brings a wide range of experience from various industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, real estate and professional services from small owner managed businesses all the way up to large multinational corporations, and everything in between. Robert can take even the most complex situations and explain them in a clear, concise and simplified manner which is tailored to the needs of each individual client.
Prior to joining Melo LLP Robert spent the previous 15 years with both a national accounting firm and a large multinational corporation in the manufacturing industry. He held various positions in accounting, finance and forecasting. Robert is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2010.
Robert graduated from the University of Windsor in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – Business Administration (Co-op) degree. He received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2010 from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and began his career with a national accounting firm. Robert also obtained his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the University of Michigan while working in the manufacturing industry.
