Mark D. Danelon
CPA, CA | Chief Executive Officer
As chief executive officer (CEO), Mark oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions at Melo LLP. Mark ensures all systems, resources and people are in place to achieve the goals of the company.
Mark graduated from the University of Windsor in 2003 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – Business Administration (Co-op) degree. He received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2006 from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and began his career with a national accounting firm.
In 2009 Mark entered the corporate world, first working for an international publicly traded company and then holding the CFO and Director of Stakeholder Relations position for a regulated company in the energy sector.
He brings tremendous passion and a strong work ethic to his role, following the three D’s of Desire, Drive and Determination. Mark takes pride in empowering staff to be the best versions of themselves.
Mark is married to Tania and they share two wonderful children, Paolo and Sabrina. He also loves to coach baseball and softball.
