Shipper / Receiver / Forklift Operator
Working for our client within the Kingsville area
Melo LLP is currently searching for an experienced Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator for one of our clients located in the Kingsville area. If you are looking to work within a newer warehouse facility, then this opportunity would be ideal for you.
- Forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks, and stacking pallets
- Required to examine shipments, and organize inventory
- Staging orders and wrapping pallets
- Daily inspection of as forklift and reporting any mechanical or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years’ forklift experience required; Forklift Certification required
- Intermediate computer experience is required – Microsoft Excel
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to write, read, and be fluent in English
- Steel-toed safety shoes
- Experience working with propane and electric forklifts is ideal
- Hours of work – day shift 8am – 4pm must be available for an occasional Saturday depending on customer demand
- Role requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, and the use of hands
- Required to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
