Melo LLP is hiring an HR Generalist on behalf of our client in the Windsor, ON area. The chosen candidate will collaborate with the HR team to facilitate recruitment processes, ensuring all vacancies are promptly filled and staffing requirements are consistently met.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including identifying, evaluating, coordinating, interviewing, and verifying candidate references.
- Identify and connect with qualified candidates, both internally and externally, through job postings, corporate websites, and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Organize, update, and manage candidate records and documentation.
- Suggest innovative recruitment methods and strategies to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
- Monitor job openings and compile recruitment data for weekly and monthly reporting.
- Assemble onboarding materials and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Assist in executing the new employee orientation program.
- Collaborate on the planning and implementation of training initiatives.
- Additional administrative duties as assigned.
- College or University degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources or a Recruitment position
- Experience working with an ATS system is an asset
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel and Google Suite
- Must have the ability to compile, analyze, and interpret data
- Willingness to perform other duties as required
