Financial Controller

Melo LLP is currently searching for a Financial Controller for the Leamington area. The ideal person for this position will be insightful, financially savvy, and an excellent communicator. They will bring extensive experience in finance and accounting to this position.
- Providing financial analysis and support for key business decisions, managing financial risk, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
- Responsible for managing the financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting functions.
- Strong relationship building, collaboration, continuous improvement, and communications skills.
- Responsible for overseeing financial statements, preparation, analyzing, and reporting.
- Develop financial models for growth strategies including acquisitions, and other major projects.
- Direct financial planning and budget management functions, and coordinate and compile annual budget.
- Track cash flow and ensure financial needs are met.
- Develop company KPI’s to gauge performance in terms of hitting strategic operational goals.
- Will work closely with the senior leadership team to identify areas to optimize financial performance.
- Professional candidate with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
- Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- Advanced understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and operational abilities with strategic decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and an emphasis on responsibility.
