Digital Content Manager

We are currently recruiting for an Digital Content Manager to join our team in our Kingsville or Windsor. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining a range of social / digital content to support Firm objectives and desired identity.

We are a mid-market accounting firm with locations in Forest, Leamington, Sarnia, Strathroy, Windsor and Wyoming. We provide audit, accounting, tax and a wide range of business advisory services. We serve clients ranging in size from small owner-managed enterprises to large, privately held organizations in various industries including the agribusiness, real estate, manufacturing and professional services sectors.
- Responsible for creating, improving and maintaining a range of social / digital content to support Firm objectives and desired identity
- Manage and / or create high quality, sharable content across all platforms (social, web) to raise brand awareness and enhance brand eminence
- Oversee and mentor existing content production team members
- Develop a digital content strategy that encompasses the goals of the Firm and aligns with the Firm’s desired image
- Monitor web and social content effectiveness
- Grow social media presence and drive web traffic
- Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative
- Stay abreast of current best practices and drive creative content across all digital platforms
- Post secondary degree in English, marketing, communication, or journalism
- Four or more years of experience in a similar role, preferably at the Manager level
- Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the Firm’s brand identity
- Proven track record of creating effective content and driving social media / digital engagement
- Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Extremely computer literate
- Advanced written communication skills
- Strong experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices
- Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets Firm objectives
- Technical knowledge of MS Office and WordPress / Website management software
- Salary based on experience
